This is absolutely beautiful. I don’t understand how anyone can think this is wrong or against human nature in any way whatsoever. We allow drunken marriages between male and female in Las Vegas, but we spit upon and look down at something like this. Oh, the world we live in.
Well you know… it’s entirely valuable to society and the “institution of marriage” that those drunk heterosexuals are allowed their 36 hours of wedded bliss. But if you have two men (or women) who’ve been together for years, and decide they want to spend the rest of their lives together regardless of a piece of paper… giving them that paper that says they’re married in the eyes of the law, THAT is what is going to destroy the value of marriage.
Seriously… this world.
That, everyone, is what marriage needs to be about. Love, support and friendship.
